Organic Cotton Giant Rocket

Buckle up, because we're about to launch into outer space! The Basket Giant Rocket is not just one basket but three separate baskets that stack to form a rocket ship ready for takeoff. Each layer is carefully handcrafted with braided cotton cord made from cotton and recycled PET bottle fibers, making it more resistant and featuring details in dark grey, natural, and light blue.
The basket comes with a small textile astronaut that will become the cosmic travel companion for the little ones. The astronaut has a canvas backpack that kids can slip their fingers into, allowing them to play and pretend the astronaut is flying.

This is a unique artisan piece, carefully designed by Lorena Canals and sustainably handcrafted in our own factory using natural fibers and upcycled materials, non-toxic dyes, and a firm commitment to the planet and people. From the design process, to material sourcing and production, we always choose options that minimize waste and ensure long-lasting designs.      

Recycled Pet Filler: Contains fibers from recycled PET-bottles, avoiding plastic waste to end up in the landfill, upcycling them instead into new products.     

Imaginative play: Our toys are designed to stimulate imaginative play, providing children with endless opportunities for exploration and creativity. As they interact with our toys, children engage their senses through play. They improve essential cognitive skills,  promote sensory development, and encourage children to explore different textures and shapes. Each Lorena Canals product is carefully handcrafted by our artisans in our own factory in India using ancestral craft techniques. The result is a piece of art with slight variations inherent in artisanal work. Finding beauty in imperfection.

Solidarity: Our rugs stand for solidarity. Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family's economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.
